BCM is the best food i like among all hawker foods. i am been a BCM lovers but the standard in Singapore really disappoint me too much. . .As for all BCM that i have tried there are only 3 stall that i am impress with 1) The YAN KEE located at Boat Quay (Junction of South Bridge Road and Circular Road) This Should be the best BCM i have eaten!!! The Q-ness of noodle, Springy-ness of the SUPER fishball and the SHIOK-ness of chilli sauce. Everythings was so well mixed and perfect. But just have to look out of who is the cook. The night one seem to be better than the day one. Dry version in the night and rather wet during the day. Just wonder why the boss is unable to standardise this to make it a hit. 2) Ah Nam Abolone Noodles (After Larvander Street) The food is as perfect as the YAN KEE and they are serving Fruit Soup instead of what we usually have. Cons is that the portion are really damm small, but i dont really mind about that cos no point giving me big portion if the food don't even taste good. the small portion do urges me to order a second bowl. 3) Tai Hua BCM (North Bridge Road) I think they are popular just because of their name. Few years back when they just reopen at North Bridge road i rush down to try and i am so shock that the standard was so bad. I was so disappointed with it and swear that i am not gonna have it again. recently i decided to give them another try as i was passing by and was gald that they had promote to an above standard BCM. The saucing taste much better compare to my last visit few years back. Except that the noodle is still rather sloggy and slightly expensive. Still worth a try. With my experience of all BCM i had tried around Singapore i hereby Strongly Recommend the above 3 Listing Only.

Am gonna introduce the bah chor mee sua found in this coffee shop. IT'S REALLY VERY GOOD!
Located at the junction of south bridge rd and circular rd (at boat quay), it's really not too hard to find this place. What's special about the dish im raving about is that instead of the usual bah chor mee pok/kia that we eat, they're famed for their mee sua version!
Well, i guess you're thinking it's really no big deal if they merely changed the kinda noods they're using, but i must tell u it's that, plus their choice of really fresh ingredients. For one, they serve their mee sua with anchorvies, and the crunchiness and fragrance of it simply add to the yumminess. Mee sua also absorbs the flavouring better, so every strand is soaked with the goodness.
Especially for those who detest the bitterness found in mee kia/pok, mee sua might just be what you need!
