Really diappointed with this branch with the quality of breads, not just one type but 95% of them. I noticed the quality started to drop after they employed china people to work at the bakery.
The breads are mostly hard & cold & dry. Only a few types are soft & not dry. Recently they have also started to use sealable plastic packaging for certain breads, what a waste of money.
Another annoying thing is the counter staffs or cashiers. 99% of them were PRCs, whom greets customers with mandarin, unable to speak simple english properly.
Hey, this is Singapore, not China, English is our national language, not mandarin. Do you expect a caucasian, maly or indian to understand your mandarin greetings?
It is perfectly alright for them to work here, but employers, can you please train them some simple english before they embark on their job? Especially frontline service staffs.
