1 Review for “Cafe Cartel (Serangoon Garden) ” - Restaurants
113
One of my favourite hangout. services are usually fast and portions are definitely not stingy.
cafe cartel serves a wide variety of food, from sirloin steak, beef stew to the more localized version like pan fried macaroni with sambal chilli.
The pan fried macaroni is my favorite dish in cafe cartel. the macaroni is served in al dante style, slightly sweet and spicy, fried with tender chicken meat and some mushrooms. and you can top up $2 for a bigger portion if you're very hungry! and trust me, when you top up $2, it makes alot of difference! haha.
my favorite drink id say shld be the mocha frappe. its blended with some chocolate chips you can taste it, sometimes stuck between your teeth haha. so better be careful about that.
but one drink ill definitely not recommend is their pina colada. the real pina colada should have the coconut milk fragrance with pineapple juice. their pina colada doesnt have the coconut milk taste at all, instead, the milky taste is being substituted by vanilla ice cream. their pina colada is like vanilla ice cream in pineapple juce. so yeah, im pretty disappointed with that when i first ordered it. (well there wasnt a second time anyway)
affordable prices, slightly above average services and food. but recently they just started to charge service charge :(

In cooking, the adjective al dente (pronounced /%u0251%u02D0l%u02C8d%u025Bnte%u026A/) describes pasta and (less commonly) rice that has been cooked so as to be firm but not hard
