This is one of my favourite cafes in a quiet corner of the Pasir Ris National Library at WhiteSands (shopping mall next to Pasir Ris MRT station).
I would always recall how congested the cafe would turn out to be during the examination periods with students hogging the seats.
My favourite dishes from Cafe Galilee's regular menu include Italian Ocean Catch, Honey-glazed wings and Seafood Spagetti in Cream Sauce.
And the yummy taste of its finger food aren't the only main attraction for me.
The service in this outlet has been excellent based on my expectations.
The staff are always polite & wearing a smile over the counters when orders are first placed before I proceed to choose my table of preference for sitting to enjoy my meal.
And a PRC national staff whom served me had been professional & kind enough to tell me more about their promotions - so that I could get a free Snapple drink with a spagetti meal.
When I once ordered cold drinks, she had also asked me if I were interested in getting their prepaid card (for cold drinks) so that I could enjoy cold drinks at a lower price.
These gestures are viewed as value-added services because customers would at least be aware of the on-going promotions in the cafe.
There might be posters in the cafe but not many would even bother to read or even after reading, might not even register :P
Hence, the staff had done well in sharing their promotions which are relevant to our orders so that we could enjoy their offers.
The impression I was given is that the staff isn't just there to take the order, collect the monies & serve the food. She has done well to forge a warm rapport with clients in giving them such added services which ultimately benefits them :)
In addition, I also observe that the staff are very prompt in clearing food from the table when the customers leave the cafe, which meant that cleanliness in the Cafe is assured. No insects & funny ordours from leftover food thus far.
As such, I would like to offer Cafe Galilee @ WhiteSands a 5 stars for their food & service.
