This place was highly recommend by my friend who works nearby the place and the location is nicely tugged in a quaint little shop space at seah street, near to the grand raffles hotel and the busy bras brasah road. Once you set food into the little shop front, you get a feeling you're invited into a simple little eating place where all the tables are covered with flowery plastic table covers and a mini vase with 1 stalk of flower [ i think the flower is plastic too] to adorn the table setting.
Being a curry lover, my main purpose was to tryout the Debal's Curry [ sounds like Devil's curry] to see if the Eurasian version indeed lives up to its name. The star of the menu - Debal Curry turn out to be a pretty peppery experience whereby the texture of the curry is a bit grainy (think is the mustard seeds) and is slighter thicker than our traditional curry (don't think they have added any coconut milk though). If you like your curries peppery and thick, you can probably try this Debal's curry.
As for me, I think I still prefer creamy coconut milk in my curries....... ^ ^
