the food at cavana is awesome. the sambal chicken cutlet rice is so damn nice. and spicy. i nvr fail to ask for extra sambal lol.
they have healtier choices food too. the black pepper beef spagetti is an example. the beef is tender and fresh. the sauce is nice. the vege serving is boiled well. and they even give an egg together with it.
the food is really nice and worth the money.

Was walking toward causeway point when i saw this interesting area right at the entrance of the shopping centre. Initially i thought that they are actually free seating place build for the customers. So kind of the management i thought.:P
Then did i realise that they are not free seating space but actually a Cavana restuarant. This particular outlet is rather different from the rest of its outlets, probably due to its alfresco dining area. Well, thinking that it may be an interesting experience to have my dinner outdoor, i decided to check out this cavana.
Cavana is especially famous for its chicken dishes, from deep fried all the way to the stir fry kind. Interesting ya? Beside chicken, they also sells beef and fish but their varieities are pretty limited. Oh by the way, they are certified halal so sad to say, you won't be able to find any pork there.
Their menu are divided into 2 different category -- the classic and the hotplates. The classics consists of fried chicken wings, chicken culets, grilled chicken and curry chicken. As for their hotplates, its slightly more interesting with sichuan, teriyaki flavours and such.
I decided to try out their teriyaki chicken hotplate as the pictures on the menu looks pretty appetising. A rather big portion i can say, beside the main teriyaki chicken, it is also served with rice, side vegetable dish and egg. However, i did not find their chicken particually nice as what they have boast about.
Perhaps they are still afterall a western food outlet, thus i am not able to compare their teriyaki chicken with those from the japanese restuarant. hahaha... However, i must admit that their portion is rather filling.
They have also created their own drink -- lemongrass lemon drink. Heard from my friend that lemongrass can actually aids digestion. Do not know if this is true. But this drink can definitely make me feels less bloated after the huge servings of hotplate.
Overall, this shop provides huge serving of food at an ok price. Prices vary from what you order. Hot plates are generally much more expensive than classics. Just do not be too particular on their quality of food.
