Cilantro Modern Asian says it all – almost. Named after the North American term for an Asian herb – that which we call coriander or Chinese parsley offers a unique spin on modern Asian cuisine to your neighbourhood heartlands.
A juxtaposition of western art in a predominantly black and white space with distinct flora motifs evoke a belle époque that few would be able to resist.

Went to this outlet at Jln Bukit Merah after reading of their foie gras from ieat. It is indeed as delicious as reviewed! wads more you can get a further discount off the already affordable $15 when you quote that u read of the eatery from ieat's blog. at $12, the foie gras is as good as can get!
tried their other food like smoked duck pizza, mixed grill and some sausage, but they were all average. it is also evident that there are many skeptics of this sprouting of restaurant-food in coffeeshop. an auntie (rather irritatingly, might i add) came to ask how much we paid for the foie gras, and repeatedly commented on how the really small portion can't fill the stomach. i was a tad put off by her uninvited comments, to which my friend rather wittily replied with, "auntie, bao4 yu2 ye shi chi bu bao ah!" (auntie, abalone also can't fill your stomach in mandarin)
the foie gras is worth a try, because the combi with mango and raisins is indeed delighting to the taste buds. that aside, don't expect too much from the rest on the menu. prices are okay, slightly higher than ur typical coffeeshop western food, but certainly much lower than what you will pay in restaurants. (mixed grill - $12, pizza - $6, if i nv rmb wrongly)
