'COTTON ON' SINGAPORE SERVICE STAFF SLAMMING DOOR AT CUSTOMER

I was shopping at Anchorage Cotton On yesterday and the service staff were extremely rude.

Was charged for a piece which I have rejected before payment. Ended up I wasted my time waiting for refund.

Without any sign of apology, what made it worst was that they asked you to wait there while there is a 2nd computer next to it. 2 of the cashier then slowly took their time to serve at a same customer till 5 mins later I got to remind them. They then took their own sweet time to scan the tags and it was even more annoying that after wasted my time more than 10 mins standing at the counter, then they 'surprising' realised that my data is needed for keying in. Instead of proceeding, they quit the process and restart the whole process on the 2nd computer which by the first place they could do so instead of 2 serving the a paymt.

To make the matter worst, the cashier at the 2nd computer asking me in a harsh and impatient tone about my data. Why is Cotton On staff treating client requesting for refund so badly?! Especially it was a mistake done by them and instead of apologize causing me inconvenience, they have treated the customer as trouble maker.

When I confronted the cashier of her unethical service and asked for her name ; she simply turned and walk away and slammed on the door behind the counter so loudly. There are at least 20 customers in the shop then and there is a couple even offer to be my witness and left me their mobile no.

The merchandise is now on their hand, receipt also in their hands and no refund was made.

Singapore has been ranked as one of the country who are not giving quality service are mainly due to employer like cotton on who give no proper training & monitoring to their front service staff and damaged the image which their head office is paying thousands or even millions to project.

Just across the shop, praises are to be given to Giordano Anchorage - though is only a girl who looks quite inexperience, but the willingness to look at you in the eyes and assist a few customers at a same time, the smiles on her face is definitely worth a million to the Giordano.

Seriously, WAIT FOR THEIR SALE if you want to get anything from Cotton On.

When they hold a sale, man, it is really a sale. A lot of their clothes prices are marked down by a lot, some up to 50%!

I think that their clothes are quite comfortable, although the fabric is quite thin, it's soft and comfy!

The shop wise, i must say that it is ALWAYS crowded. The clothes are always messed up (by the shoppers) so it will be difficult to actually enjoy shopping in there. But if you're looking for something cheap yet comfortable, tolerate the crowd and you'll get your reward=)
