De Beaute at Roxy. My mother booked a facial session for me from her package. The consultant and the beautician tried to tag-team to get me to sign another new package under my name. They keep interrupting my whole facial session. They even brought in 2 machines asking me to try. When the deal did not go through, they called my mother the next day telling her that they used 2 machines during my facial session for me to try, therefore it should be counted as 2 sessions instead of 1. I called them up and asked for clarification, the manager of the Roxy branch started to tell me that she did that because she did not not exactly what happened. That is so unethical and unprofessional. When they were trying to sell me a package, it is just for me to try. When they did not get what they want, they count the session by the number of machines they pushed into the room. This is De Beaute. This is the way they “take care” of their clients.

I have just visited the Singapore Shopping Centre branch for a trial. It was a terrible experience. Attending consultant was unorganized; she sat beside me and left again within a second as she has forgotten something. She was rude while explaining the procedures of the treatment saying that all the RF treatments are the same since I have already tried out with another salon and persuade me to buy another different treatment which i refused. She then walked towards her colleague and return stating that their RF treatment was an intensive treatment and I should revisit weeks later. I accepted the suggestion. Her colleague proposed a different slimming treatment, ultra slimming which uses "vaccum theory" which she does not know I had done before when I was arranging the reappointment.

The therapist wasn't very professional in her speech, came in with an inkless pen for noting down measurements and clueless about where to place her bottle of slimming oil. She brought me to a steam room after the session, suggesting I should put my belongings in the locker when we almost reach the room, we returned to our treatment room. She passed me a shower cap upon reaching the steam room which I thought she should had while we were in the treatment room. After the steaming session, no one attended to me. I stood around the area for a minute before deciding to get changed and I had to ask where I should change. I touch up using an old hairdryer and a empty tissue box on the table and had to find my way out.

I am very upset and disappointed with the service provided by such an upscale posh decorated salon which is patronized by "tai-tai"s and highly paid executive ladies.

This outlet is housed in the quiet Roxy Square just opposite Parkway Parade. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the complex though, this salon is very well renovated and looks posh with its spa theme.

It has relaxing music playing in the background and nice dim lights to help you feel less conscious.

Recently they advertised in the newspapers... 30 sessions (10 of 3 different kinds) for just a few hundred dollars so I decided to head down for some trials. The people were very friendly and less pushy (still pushy though but less) than some of the other salons I've been to.

Just an outline of my problems: I have a tummy and thick thighs and generally not toned.

So I signed up for their package and did the Radio Frenquency one straightaway. It was really good! I could actually see the reduced appearance of my cellulite on my thighs immediately and for a few days it maintained that look.

I also tried the Detox Massage by Shirley. She was very patient and put me at ease immediately. She shared many home remedies I could do for my problems. Which was really helpful. They also stayed later than normal as I was the last customer and didn't seem impatient, letting me take my time in the shower etc.

The only reason why they did not receive 5 stars was that I didn't like a couple of their pushier consultants but the therapists were very nice.
