Although it is called a dessert bar, Dezat really is a Japanese restaurant. It offers a range of set meals, and daily special set lunches. Prices range from $8.90 for Curry Chicken Cutlet Set meal to $13.90 for a Cod fish set. All sets come with a dessert, with a choice of Chocolate or Mango Mousse. I prefer the latter as the former is too sweet for my taste. Most sets are served with miso soup, rice and steamed egg. Portions are moderate. But for this price, I think it is still more affordable than some other places.
Recommendations: Paper Steam Boat @ $9.90, it consists of prawn, meat, mushrooms, and vegetables cooked in a mini-pot with fire underneath. Rice & Miso Soup included. But big eaters may not find it filling.
Grilled Eel with deep fried chicken @ $11.90. This is nice. The chicken is soft and the eel is fresh.
Deep Fried Prawn with California Sushi @$10.90. I like the sushi.
As an added bonus, there is no service charge and there is a free flow of green tea.
The place is quite small though, so you may have to share tables or be left waiting during peak hours.
