By now, some of you may have heard of the new tuition centre called Education Clinic. Specializing in their 'O' Level and PSLE English Courses, the education clinic has been gaining popularity amongst the tuition world, with competitors like Just Education and Mavis Tutorial Centre. Nested in the quaint area of Marine Parade, inside Katong Shopping Centre (level 7), it might be a little inaccessible for those of you who don’t drive. Nevertheless, buses are widely available to the shopping centre.
Upon reaching, I was really surprised by the interior design of the place. The colourful decals and cozy atmosphere would certainly attract the attention of your child. For parents who would like to wait for your kids to finish their classes, there's a "parents lounge" where you could enjoy a complementary cup of tea by the centre. In addition, the spacious and comfortable classroom environment provides a conducive learning environment.
I was attended by Mr Sherfeeq, one of the English tutors, who was really friendly and welcoming. What really struck me was the unique English curriculum and methodology offered by Education Clinic which emphasises on the answering techniques which is the problem many students face today. This really sets them apart from the other tuition centres.
