No Shakes There is nothing on the menu that warrants our respect for the chef. We have been to the restaurant several times and whether its the kofta dish or the mixed grill or the shish tawouk, or even a simple plate of hommus, we honestly feel disgusted by the sight and taste of our orders. Hoping to give the restaurant a chance proved to be a waste of our time. If you are planning to sit upstairs, take a look at the potholes on the carpet, a result of charcoal bombardment falling of sheesha bottles. For some reason you will want to go home and shower with a medicated soap due to the incessant itch that you develop after sitting on the divan. Nobody has bothered to wash the pillows it would seem. There is no difference between a table at a hawker stall and here as you will soon discover. The tables are never really that clean and you will always find leftovershere and there, including bones and toothpicks on the divan's carpet. The sheesha served is atrocious -- it taste like carbon more than anything else. The owner or management of this outlet should really close it down if they want to maintain the dignity of the Sheik. For now, we rather call it something else that also begins with the letter 's.'
