service was wonderful and homely, the glasses of lemon-flavored iced water were definitely a plus point. quick too.
tables and chairs were a bit cramped and small, tho. the cheesecakes looked quite good.
the shaved ice ($3.80) was rather bland, and quite disappointing, frankly. definitely part of the 'less sweet' revolution in the food industry right now which i cant stand. but thats market economics for you. anw back to the food, even though the ice was bland, it did have a rather interesting, mildly creamy texture; and overall tastes decent with together with the mango cubes.
all in all, definitely a place for those who dont have a sweet tooth.
