Came across this interesting place while I was riding Singapore's shortest escalator from the Circle Line up to the Citylink walkway towards the MRT. Though many do not walk this supposedly older router any more, I somewhat still love this Popcorny walkway. Why Popcorny? The next time you stroll on the walkway, awake your nose and smell the air :)

The outlet is the first corner shop you see up the Singapore's shortest escalator and I simply love the interior deco. It resembled a cottage with a garden with lots of greenery (though fake plants were used) and sweet pretty flowers all around in a white wooden fenced space. There are wall plants and comfy cushion seats as well as white wood tables and chairs for the complete country feel.

The drink and food selection is somewhat a little different from the regular coffee joints that serves local coffees and I love it. Though we just had dinner and would just like some dessert, we still couldn't resist the thought of the savoury curry chicken and soya sauce chicken with rice, perhaps a bowl of the ever yummy bubur cha cha and yet we ended up ordering coffee and toast because who can resist watery half boiled eggs and crispy soft bun toast?

So we each had a set of the all time favourite toast and runny eggs. The eggs were a little overcooked yet the semi hardened egg yolk just brought more creamy texture to taste. The toast and kaya is super good, creamy yet not too sweet. Coffee was thick and aromatic and for non-caffeine drinkers like me, I have a iced honey which is a generous dose of honey with icy water. We had a great time chit chatting, there were plenty of seats and the outlet has not much crowd on a weekend evening. Service was homely, friendly and pretty quick.

Location: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 (Some things are cheaper then many other cafes) Variety: 3.5/5 (Selection is more than similar cafes and they have a great balance between snacks and tummy fillers as well as a good variety of drinks to choose from) Service: 3.5/5 (Homely and Friendly)

Will I return: Yes, loved the iced honey :)

Will I bring my friends: Yes and introduce more friends
