Gelare (Gelare @ The Star Vista)

Its nice to be having a waffle with ice-cream here during the cool december as it is not airconditioned however with shade and natural air seemed to be a much healthier choice as compared to the cool dry artificial atmosphere.

There are plenty of seats, though not super comfy, yet spacious enough to move around and for big groups, plenty of space and noise control. Service is warm and friendly though we waited quite a while for our waffles... We could understand why because they were freshly made and with the ongoing promotion of 1 for 1 waffles, it is super worth it to grab a waffle here.

They have a good choice of premium ice cream to choose from like white chocolate raspberry, jamaican chocolate and other yummy flavors however they don't serve my favourite rum and raisin :(. The Ice cream is smooth and creamy and heavy in a good way. We ordered a plain waffle with one scoop of ice cream, plus 4 whip cream flowers drizzled with a plentiful of caramel!

The waffle is hot and crispy, thick and loose, very well made and I must say is a good mixture of crisp and softness. Ice cream on the waffle mushy and yummy while the caramel sauce and whip cream brings the buttery sweet to balance. We had a very good time chit chatting over the waffle and in house ice water and the staff is generous to offer more maple syrup, chocolate or caramel sauce when requested. Great place great food and worth it prices.
