Good Morning Nanyang Cafe (Maxwell Chamber)

Was around the area when I spotted this bright orange cafe with the words GOOD MORNING Nanyang Cafe written in bold. As I was way ahead of my appointment time, i've decided to pop in for a quick drink and was greeted by a few elderly ladies toasting bread. As the weather took a quick turn from the stormy morning to a rather warm and humid afternoon, i've decided on a cool, icy, lime juice to cool myself down.

The selections on the menu was a good variety of local dishes with plenty of choices and my all time favourite kaya toasts with soft boiled eggs sets, however all i wanted was a drink, i didnt get any of those. The entire shop space was filled with stools and tables and had a few tables occupied by white collars working around the area.

I loved the large windows overlooking the greenery and road by the corridor. The place held chit-chat noises pretty well and the air-con was of a comfortable temperature. Watching people rushing by the corridor is the complete opposite of the cosy and relaxing environment of the staffs working inside the cafe. Its a simple place to rest your legs and perhaps get engrossed with a book. Place is clean, pretty spacious and service prompt yet not overpowering... only thing... couldn't find the loo inside the cafe and if its outside i think would be quite a distance away...
