Himawari is one restaurant that i will ALWAYS look forward to going for their super awesome buffet. For about SGD 30 for lunch buffet, complete with a wide variety of jap dishes and shabu shabu steamboat, i urge all jap buffet lovers (esp sashimi lovers like me) to give Himawari a try.
Sashimi is really fresh. they have swordfish, yellowtail etc as well. Best of all you can have as many plates as you like. *salivates* They have handrolls, normal sushi platters, teriyaki, tempura, the usual jap side dishes... too. You can try each and every plate if you have enough stomach space for all. :P
the other highlight other than the fresh sashimi has got to be the shabu shabu steamboat. the broth is really good. zero MSG. they are extremely generous with the vegetables. you can ask for more dang ou or enoki mushrooms if you like. the beef shabu is da bomb. they have pork slices as well. :)
all in all, Himawari is one jap buffet restaurant that I will keep coming back for more of their fresh sashimi and value for money buffet. :)
