This is American Italian food at Plaza Singapura #B2. Chance upon it when other western restaurants were packed during peak lunch hours.
This is a cheap western food found in an Orchard shopping mall.
Surprisingly its own creative style of mixed grill spaghetti and the grilled fish are pretty tasty, but portion a bit small for me.
Nonetheless, its value-for-money set meal for its quality, tasty garnishing and spice used.

I passed the place a few times before deciding to try it out. I ordered an Egg Mayo and Sun-dried Tomato sandwich and soup based on the set promotion. I love Shitake mushrooms and decided to try it too. When the soup came, it was way smaller than the one at other places I have been to.
When my sandwich came, it was way flatter than any other places I have been to. I was rather disappointed. I didn't realised that the sandwich was to be slightly toasted either since I don't recall the menu stating toasted sandwich.
The iced lemon tea was a disappointment too, it was too small a glass. It didn't felt like the cost was enough for such quantity.
The food tasted average and I tasted pepper more than anything else. The mushrooms had too much garlic and I prefer my mushrooms to be cooked with light seasoning sans garlic.

Enticed by the attractive promotions that "Hot Tomato Express" had to offer, my 2 friends and I decided to give this eatery a try. The staff were friendly and welcoming while the ambiance was pretty good for the prices we were paying (Around $10 plus, minus) because it was quite cozy.
However, when we were served our main courses, we were terribly disappointed by the poor quality of the food. I apologize for being unable to recall the names of what we ordered but my 2 friends ordered olive rice with pork chop. "Putting some chopped olives into the rice does not make it Olive rice," was the comment my friend gave. The rice was dry and not very tasty, as I found after sampling a portion of their food. The pork, was unfortunately, rubbery and not at all appetizing.
I had better luck with my order- Roasted spring chicken with rosemary/thyme. Although I had ordered half a spring chicken, there was not much meat on that chicken, understandably as spring chickens can be pretty small. A thoughtful gesture, to compensate for the skinny chicken, would be to add more mashed potato or other type of side dish. I wasn't as full and satisfied after the meal as I hoped I would be. One would think eating half a chicken would be very filling.
After sampling my friends' choice of food and eating my own (rather) small portion, needless to say, we haven't gone back since, nor looked back either.
