the first taste i had of icecream gallery was when my neighbour bought 4 cartons of ice cream home, and we went there to eat ice cream. there was strawberry, chocolate, cookies and cream, and rum and raisin.
strawberry; really good! it wasnt like the usual strawberry ice cream, with all the fake flavourings and all. it was creamy, and tangy t the same time, leaving me wanting for more. it tastes a little like haagen daz.
chocolate; this chocolate ice cream was rich, decadent. it melted in my mouth, sending me into pure bliss as the chocolatey taste tentalized my tastebuds. the ice cream was extremely smooth and rich, delicious!
cookies&cream; this lived up to my expectations too. chunks of oreos were wedged into between the fragrant vanilla ice cream like gems. the ice cream was fragrant and had the ultimate vanilla taste.
unfortunately, i did not get a taste of the rum&raisins, as it was polished off when i came for it afer the three servings. nobody blamed me for being a glutton, as everybody was in bliss, and they were eating like gluttons too (:
addicted by the great ice cream ice cream gallery offered, i went there to try more of their ice cream. i ordered durian icecream with waffle drizzled with maple syrup (you have a choice of chocolate sauce too! ), which cost $6. later, the ice cream proved its worth, by the heavenly taste.
durian; the durian ice cream was rich and creamy, the smell not too strong, but good enough for a durian lover. this is the best durian ice cream i have ever tasted, and will probably reign over all other durian ice creams effortlessly.
waffle; the waffle was crispy, and did not taste floury nor did it stick in your teeth, as some waffles do. it melted in my mouth, as i slwly revelled in its taste. it was SO good. i was pleasantly surprised when the lady at the counter told me it was homemade!
ps. the ice cream is homemade too!

Ice Cream Gallery is one of those numerous ice cream parlours popping up around Singapore. But, I'm happily blogging about this because it has Teh Halia Ice Cream.
Ice Cream Gallery has Teh Halia ice cream, milky and gingery, and with crystallised ginger bits. However, I thought that the tea taste could be slightly stronger as it tasted more like halia susu (ginger milk) then Teh Halia.
Brandied Cherry Ice Cream is generous on the alcohol - the cherries are plump with a strong alcoholic taste. Yum!
The Rum and Rasin Ice Cream is Ice Cream Gallery's hottest flavour - but sadly, it was sold out the night we went.
A scoop costs $3 for normal flavours, and $3.50 for alcoholic flavours.
