i went there with my family, and i find the variety neither pocket-friendly nor appetizing.
nevertheless, i wound up with a curry udon which was surprisingly cheap (arnd $8) and absolutely delicious!!
the other dishes ordered by my family were forgettable, my sister commented that we should've just bought sashimi from carrefour and eaten food court jap food instead. the beef in the beef hot pot my mum ordered had the consistency of chewing gum and she was desperately distributing the tough slices to us (no luck there!) for love of her gums.
service wasnt worth the 10% service charge, with iced water served after our main courses arrived, upon prompting. it doesnt make sense to pay so much more just for (a)someone to carry my food from the kitchen to the table and oh (b) for them to shout "irasshaimase" into my ear.

I personally think the food presentation was delicious enough already. I had the beefy hot plate and it was really fulfilling to your tummy when the food is kept warm enough though-out the entire meal. However, the seat that i got with the whole big group of friends perhaps isn't the best as it was the first seat before you hit into the entire restaurant and it turned out to be rather warm and uncomfortable under the strong spotlight.
On top of the aromatic and appetizing food i enjoyed, there were oranges that came together to give a sweet full stop for everything. Seating arrangement aside, i enjoy every bite i had right till the end.
My partner had chicken katsu don, if you are in the fried chicken mood, go for it! It was quite a huge portion too, so a good choice for guys and rather reasonably priced :)
Ps: not very good camera, but please trust me on it for its taste and magnetic fields of making you drool.)

i think the food there is quite refreshing and nice, seems quite different from the other japanese cuisine that i've tried. the ambience of the place ain't bad either. quiet and relaxing as you can take your time to choose and take from the wide variety of sushi avaliable from the conveyor belt itself. the price is slightly higher compared to other japanese food outlets but i think it is worth the price. the service there is quite good as well.
