Read about this restaurant and felt that it was rather suitable to hold my friend's 21st celebration there. Located near Bugis, a rather convenient place and of nice ambience, we decided to head there.
When we reached, I realised that the place was nicely decorated and the shop space was of an adequate size ie. not too big such that customers will feel overwhelmed by the crowds. We sat down and was about to look through the menu when we were informed that there was a tertiary students special.
The special included soup of the day, a main course, choice of ice cream for dessert and a free mocktail. All this for only 25.90 If you top up 3.50, you will be able to upgrade to their house specialty desserts which was what we did. Apart from that, if you spend more than 50 bucks on the ala carte menu, you'll get an additional 10% discount. Haha quite a good deal which gave us a better start to the evening.
In the end, 2 of my friends ordered the set, whilst my friend and I ordered the beer battered fish from the ala carte menu. We also had brownies with ice cream and their house specialty earl grey panna. Not to forget mango lime cheesecake for our dear birthday girl. :)
The food was good and of a rather affordable price and the staff there were also very friendly (took a photo for us and even held the door open for every customer who left the shop). We had a really good time there and would definitely go back. :)
