happened to pass by Plaza Sing and dropped in for lunch. It was 1.30pm and I noticed a senior/student deal.enquired about it and was offered the deal 1/2hr earlier with no verifications asked. staff were chirpy and joyous and attentive including the senior staff in charge of drinks station. the free flow of coffee was superbly brewed and i went for 2nd cup.grilled chicken rice was hot and chicken juicy and well marinated.so was the fish&chip which was also hot and crisp.with this good experience,i decided to repeat the deal@bishan junction 8 the following week.It was the total opposite with service, food.Ihave to repeatedly asked for the soup, garlic, chilli, warm water 3x before it was served to us. later, i wanted another helping, i have to walk up to the counter to get their attention and they happily welcome me to bring back the serving to my table. the chicken was stale cold and dry, the coffe was diluted and the staff inattentive. waited so long for the soup and when the waiter passby our table with the soup, she refused to let us have the soup and insisted it was for the other table over the far end.she was so inflexible! So, i have decided not to patronise bishan branch again.but, Plaza Sing branch,i highly recommend to all

Terrible service. When I first arrived, I was at the front of the queue. Since I asked for a table for 5, I found it okay that I was asked to wait to let other smaller groups seated first. I ended up waiting for a long time to get a table.
Finally I was seated and handed a menu. Took a long time to get the waitress's attention. Took an even longer time for the food to arrive. I got seated at 7.15pm and the food arrived at 8.30pm. What made it worse was that the staff was messed up our orders with others.
Food wise, it was okay. Notable mention goes to the prawns. Though my appetite was ruined by the lousy service.

I tried out this restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon. Located on the 6th floor, it could be really tiring taking the escalator up all the way, using the lift will be more convenient.
The restaurant is a casual dining outlet that specialises in Western seafood. That makes it a rival of Fish & Co. Prices are also similar between the duo.
One of Manhatten Fish Narket specialty is Fish & Chip, there is a choice of 3 different types of fish, with Dory fish being the most affordable at $8.90. Pay $4.90 more and complete your meal with a soup and Ice tea (choice of peach and lemon).
The Soup of the day was Cream of aspargus. The asparaus was sparse and there were squids in the soup. It was palatable but certainly not unforgettable.
The fish is served in a silver wok and comes with condiments of chilli, garlic and sour cream served in a seperate dish. The fish itself is fresh and deep fried to perfection thus leaving the batter crispy but not charred. On the whole, I think it is worth returning to taste its Fish & Chips again.
But the lemon tea was only mundane.
Besides seafood, you will also find pasta on its menu. But not having tried its pasta I am unable to comment on it.
At the end of the meal, Mentos sweets were given to customers after footing the bill.
