McDonald's chain of restaurants are more or less consistent in the quality of food being served. The differences will be the ambience, location and interior decor. So, I will only touch on the differences.
This is a nice place, tuck away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Actually, it is just next to the busy main road, but the wonderful landscaping and greenery shield us from it. Making it a dining within a garden.
Its neighbour is Far East Flora, so the serene surrounding is almost perfect (well, sometimes a table of fellow customers can be a bit too loud, being very engrossed in the conversations.
It is a 24hrs joint and the air-con is rather cold when you drop by before 7am. I supposed the early morning crowd isn't there. The restaurant is built in a L-shape, with the service counter being at the right angle position (centre of the L). It has more outdoor seating than air-con seats, for very good reasons. This place is for enjoying the nice greenery and pond. Tortoises and fishes are kept in the pond. Greenery is made up of bamboo, palm trees (I think), some shrubs. Little path way ae made on grass patches, creating the garden feel.
With Wireless SG, I can see many cusomers whipping out their laptops and enjoying their "fast" food. How fast can it get in such a place? Everyone will want to take their time.
In the morning, between 7 to 8 am, it is visited by students, young working adults, couples and people like me.
The nearest comparable McDonald's will be the one at West Coast Park.
The current promo (April till May 2008, when it ends, I do not know) for breakfast makes it attractive. I can have a $2 meal, making up of a hot beverage and a McMuffin. On the receipt, the coffe is full price while the McMuffin is 20 cents!
Car park is HDB coupon parking, FOC on Sundays (notice the orange notice plate on the signboard).

yeah, hah hah. I was hesitant initially, but a quick ask around office shows that many do not know of this place. Environment, ambience is important too.
