Located directly opposite Khatib MRT Station, stood a small shop selling pizzas amongst the row of shophouses. You can probably see it without much difficulty from the Khatib MRT platform I had walked past it a couple of times but decided to give it a try today.
Queens Pizza Meal ($6.90) The Queens pizza had toppings that consist of Beef pepperoni, ground beef, Capsicums, onions and mozzarella cheese. The toppings was of adequate amount. However, the crust was too thick. It sort of covered the taste of beef for my pizza. I felt like I was eating plain bread half the time. The taste of the beef did not really come out as I could barely taste it, until i ate one slice of pepperoni. Had high expectations, but turn out to be disappointing.
Pizza Burger (Beef) ($3.90) The pizza burger was totally different from the one shown on the menu. There was simply no taste of beef at all. It was like a mix of melted cheese and tomato ketchup. That is all. The bread was so-so.
To conclude, it was disappointing. No doubt it is filling, but the taste it simply not good enough. Price wise, very much price of an average MacDonald's or KFC meal.
