Tried the high-tea buffet for the second time and there was price increment from my last visit.
the student buffet now cost 15.90 , up from the 13.90 . After GST and service charge, it is about $18-$19.
The high-tea buffet includes unlimited sushi on the conveyor belt, side dishes found on the menu like fried tofu, sashimi, tako yaki, chawa mushi, teriyaki chicken, bacon with enoki mushroom, jellyfish, octopus, scallop sides, handrolls with flavours ranging from unagi, california, soft shell crab.
For dessert, there is only ice cream with wafer available.
As for drinks, there is free flow of cold drinks like green tea, blackcurrent juice, soft drinks. For hot drinks, there are hot green tea etc.
The sushis tasted stale probably because they are not particularly fresh but the sides were ok.
High-tea buffet is from 2.30pm - 5.30pm on weekdays and they are also not available on eve and public holidays that fall on weekdays.

I patron quite a few times this outlet as my girls enjoy the ice-cream stick system. I quite fancy the stone bowl curry rice especially those burnt rice at the bottom. Price for colour plate sushi is still reasonable at $0.99 cents. Just that the chawamushi is not in the $0.99 group and my girls like it very much. The Teppanayaki is worth the try i think, especially the grill bacon with golden mushroom. They have more choices of ala-cart dishes as well as drinks and ice-cream like coke float compare to suki sushi. We like the spacious environment as we do not have to queue long for a seat. Just a comment that there is only 1 toilet each for men and ladies. Location is besides the swimming pools so we like to go for a morning swim before we go for lunch here.

Someone was asking me if this place is good, for he is attracted by the 99cents sushi. But knowing him (cares so much about hygience), I told him he wouldn't like it: the sushi are stacked on top of each other and the shape looks like some little kid was playing with the sushi (so badly made). And though "cheap" by per unit pricing, each piece of sushi is relatively smaller than outside, which end up not as worth as you would have thought.
But as to whether I will go again, it is still Yes for the moment, if I happen to have a craving for Jap non-sushi-food is going with family to the area: they have the udons, dons, yakitori, which on the overall still fairly priced and taste good.
But given the location (swimming pool where a lot of kids go for swimming lessons on weekends) and the badly designed store layout (the walkway surrounding the central sushi counter is so narrow), you just have to walk slowly as you move around choosing / picking up your food.
