1 Review for “One Noodle Restaurant ” - Restaurants
13
Wanted to pay a visit to this place for quite some time, but were always put off by either parking problem or the lack of time. But anyway, I suggested this place to my friends, as I want someplace more cozy instead of mamak or bak kut teh.
Service was pretty fast & efficient, even though the look on the old supervisor seemed abit "chuen". Their menu is pretty extensive, so choosing your food might be a lengthy affair.
The deco & ambience:
The deco/design of the place is pretty nice. Very cosy, and certain tables are partitioned, so you'll get some degree of privacy.
The noodles:
For a restaurant with a name like "One Noodle", their noodle better be good. And true enough, the noodle/ramen there is nice and full of flavour. Most of the ramen (or La Mein as One Noodle called it) cost around RM10, except for few that comes with seafood which costs RM13.80.
As you can see from the pictures, Sandy's and Kevin's ramen looks pretty dull, with minimal ingredients with the ramen. I tried Sandy's dumpling and it tasted quite good. My own's Tomyam Seafood Ramen fared a bit better IMHO. Plenty of seafood included, and it tasted quite fresh..although it would be much better if the prawns come without the shell! The tomyam soup itself its nice, but could have been better if its spicier.
The drinks:
Nothing much to blog about, as 4 of us only tried the more usual drinks. Sandy ordered their Apple Lemon Green Tea, Kevin with his Lemon Green Tea, and yours truly with just Green Tea. Should have order something more special like their Honey Watercress Tea or Lotus Root Red Dates Tea, both have received rave reviews by other bloggers. Both mine and Sandy's drinks were disappointing, so avoid them ya.
