I bought my package after getting a free trial session some time ago. After the trial session, I felt that the treatment is identical to one of those that they offer at Jean Yip, but eventually I still sign up with them as they were offering me a slightly lower price and since I already had a different treatment (more expensive range) at Jean Yip, I decided to also buy a package (cheaper range) here.
For those sessions that I went, the staff never tried to get me to upgrade to a more expensive range or ask me to add another different range. So that's considered a plus point for me.
However, for those sessions that I went, I could not feel the "specialist" in them, maybe because the staff are more "wash hair girl" rather than hair stylist (they don't offer hair cut etc over here).
When I first signed up the package, they claim that they are "different" from the treatments offered at Jean Yip (Oriental belongs to Jean Yip chain) as their staff will look at my hair condition each time and alter the ingredients (eg to treat white hair, or dandruff, or losing hair). But their staff never bother to ask about my hair condition or tell me that they are doing something specific for that session. But since I am happy with the overall treatment which includes head massage, and I could feel that regular treatments keep my hair in a better condition, so I'll still rate it as ok.
