The brainchild of our famous OWL COFFEE... The one that has an image of an owl on the O on that OWL COFFEE 3in1 packet that gives you the aromatic coffee every morning.

With its shiny new packaging and various flavours of what we usually call Kopi O or Kopi Si comes this new concept retail cafe at the Star Vista. I walked past it a few times and finally went in for a munch. Its not a big place. Indoor sitting you can accommodate about 15 tables of groups of fours. The alfresco sittings are pretty nice, shaded by gazebo and near to lots of greenary, however it can be too warm to be sitting outside on a hot day like this. So i opt to sit indoors with the nice cool breeze of the airconditioning.

The food served is a mix of eastern and western delights. You have appetizers such as prawn fritters, chicken wings and hey Chor (which is a traditional prawn roll). Main courses at an utmost interesting. They have this Soft Shell Chilli King Crab with nasi kuning.. Its completely fusion yet oriental in a way. The toast they serve has also a interesting combination like Roti Barka Assam Ninas which is sourish tamarind sauce served with ham and pineapple slices.... and not to mention the array of colorful Coffee concoction available.

As we were there for a quick bite, we ordered some what we deemed as finger food and their Gula Melaka kopi.. I;'ve got this soft spot for everything GULA MELAKA and the coffee tasted fabulous. The aroma that infused my nose is heavenly and the coffee was smooth. The gula melaka has a slight woody tinge to it yet its sweet and tentalizing. Very good coffee I must say.

We also had baked rice and some hay chor. The food is pretty yummy, not extraordinarily good but good enough for chit-chats and simple meals.

Service is good..., staff friendly and my experience is pleasant.

    Price: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Location: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Comfort: 3/5

Will I come back: YES for the COFFEE Will I bring my friends: only the coffee lovers!
