I bought chicken pies from Polar a couple of times and I dare to say that their pies are excellent. Even after leaving their chicken pie overnight doesn't change the taste or quality at all and I would seriously recommend it to anyone and everyone who like pies, especially chicken pies. To be brtually honest, I don't mind having chicken pie for my meals every day..
In fact, I even signed up for a membership card to show my "loyalty". It does look a little blur, as I don't want my name to be shown. Shy lar...

eating polar chix pie almost makes you feel like you're in chix pie heaven, with chix pies as the angels.. lol...

Just had two Polar currypuffs for supper. Why two? Because it was really appetising! The crust was flakey but not too loosely put together, the curry filling inside was also adequately proportioned so that when you eat it, you won't feel too full or feel unsatisfied. Another point is, Polar uses mutton in their curry filling unlike the normal curry chicken that we see in most currypuffs
Other pastries that I tried from Polar which are also worthy of recommendation are the chicken pies and the hot dog rolls. Furthermore, the stores often have discounts selling 2 of the selected pastries for a offer price, making it an even more worthwhile deal!
So next time you walk pass a Polar store, stop and try some of the pastries there! You won't regret it! =)
Sidenote: Although most Polar outlets only do takeaways, however if you want to have a chat over tea, you can try the outlet at the end of citylink. It' s quite a cosy small corner and you won't face much disturbance.
