this beauty salon is located at the neighbourhood area. least place you can think of for quite a posh interior decor. it's like finding Leonard drake facial salon in the middle of no-where. an area where i go marketing with my mother for cheap breakfast, groceries & where u can shop in prime supermart or some msia supermarkets. I wasn't expecting a beauty salon with 2 storey high & hence quite impressed it's nicely decorated with a zen touch.

I wasnt so impressed with the price although the salon offer a attractive 1st trial session. nonetheless i tried & i am now a regular customer of pretty young. Their prices r higher than most high end salon in shopping malls.

I have a 10 sessions facial package that cost over $1k . it exclude neck & eye treatment. It cost me another $600-700 for a 6 or 7 session eye & neck package. after doing my math, 1 facial with eye & neck treatment probably cost me $150 & that is a package price!

Verdict? Well, i love it but not the price. the lady who did my facial treatment is call Li Jun, apparently is the senior staff & is very skillful. her massage skill, her stroke on my face eye & shoulder felt so good on me that I always fall asleep. She is also the one who got rid of my face mole & did a wonderful job. no one can tell i used to have a mole on my face. I paid $30 to do that.

I noticed the staff in pretty young always promote packages & products eagerly. i went thru the sales experience & like what "nicnic" commented, it's hard sell. when li jun cant sell, the manager will come & add in saying how good the prods is. the italy brand is call Verde. like most salon, they would "encourage" u changed your existing prods to theirs & u shld have a complete skin care prods. i am not a softie n i am cool in turning down all sales approach. i buy what i want & when i want it. so up to date, i bought a small sized neck cream $90 & i love the smell, a small sized moisturizer ard the same price & i find it hard to apply on, not a smooth application maybe due to it being too creamy? if u r a softie or too shy to turn down request person, stepping into the salon might b torturous for u. for me, it is a wonderful place to get my face done & not a bother when it comes to hard-sell. i see their sales tactic as being passionate ppl who strongly belive in their prods n branding.

l recommended my sis & a coll. my sis took their package but my coll didnt as she pointed out a dislike. The facial lady will always wear a mask when doing treatment but pretty young dont. either they dont or they did but didnt have it covered their mouth all the time. it's something she didnt like & the price r steep so she didnt take the package. my sis & i benefit from the treatment & will continue to use it.

It is good for what it does but will b excellent if the prices r more competitive.

It is good for what it does but too pricey for a salon located in neighbourhood area. well maybe steep even if it's located in malls :p

i entered this shop while trying to shop for a body mask. the previous shops ive been that day usually offer me prices of about $70 average for a litre size mask.

when in this shop, i expressed my intention, and i was led to sit down at the counter while the person went deep into the shop. 2 ladies then came out with a tub of mask, in a retail size, i guess about 300ml at most, and started promoting the item to me. when i asked for the prices, they just ignored n keep telling me the benefits. and when i finally got to know the price, i was told its 150dollars.

they told me its expensive coz it from italy etc and when they were explaining, 3 other ladies came out and surround me. it was like a mass hard selling. i initially rejected saying i do not have enough cash, they told me to use nets. i say i do not have enough money in nets, they told me to use credit card. when i finally rejected the offer, they promote spa packages to me. another round of hard selling. when i rejected, they told me about manicure. fine, i thought maybe i can buy a bottle of nail polish and ask for the price of an OPI. its $22. I asked if i buy a few more bottles will it be cheaper, and the deal offered to me was: buy 5 bottles which accumulates to $110 will entitle me to a membership. and subsequently i can buy the nail polish at 10% discount which is about $20. average price i see outside is $18. not to mention having to buy 6 bottles.

        i left speechless.
