A nice cosy Kebab joint at the basement of bustling Raffles City Shopping Centre serving yummy toasted Kebabs with a choice of chicken and lamb.
Food: 4 thumbs up A good selection of tasty kebab creation and a choice of creating your own kebab with you deciding what wrap you want (there are about 5 flavours), Meat you want inside, types of veggie you want to go along with and sauces from spicy to sweet.
The toasted kebabs was extremely crispy on the outside, not oily at all and the sauce was well balanced and mildly spicy. Chicken tender and juicy with a generous handful of sticky cheese that gelled everything together in a handy roll.
Well made as we added on ($2.50) on the regular roll to have more yummy chicken and veg stuffed into our tightly bound roll. Was not messy to eat and great for take aways.
Chips were freshly fried and served hot in a box sprinkled with a generous dose of what look like chilli powder, served with light mayo and some regular chilli sauce.
Sitting Area: 3 thumbs up Not many sitting area except for a broad long bench good for solos or huge group. Theres also 2 other couple sits which looked very much like a hang out bar kind of concept. Seats were high chairs, not comfy and underneath the large broad table was stocks such as paper bags and food packaging stuffs.. not so hygienic.
Overall Ambience: 2 thumbs up Place was open, noisy and goods was stuffed everywhere. Good for take a way but not conducive for dining in.
Service: 3 thumbs up Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Got our stuffs fast and we could actually see them working on your order.
Price: 2 thumbs up Expensive for a kebab but not so for meals served in the town area such as the Raffles City. Food portion was worth the price for a location such as this. If you upsize into a meal, its actually pretty worth it.
