Qi ji is a nice place to eat nasi lemak and their laksa is not bad at all. Just the sambal I think could be more spicier. Been here alot of times, cause it is cheap and the serving is worth it. Most of the time can finish. But when I get there I always make a call home to ask if my dad wants the popiah with prawns. With cockles ain't that nice, cause it is hard. Their popiah is really good. Thumbs up for the food and price. Queueing time is not that long and the staff are efficient. The tables get cleared quick enough. Very staisfying would coem again and again. And by the way it is a halal restaurant

I dined in one at the Qi Ji Bistro at Tiong Bahru Plaza during office hours and it was quite crowded with the lunch crowd and it was quite hard to find seats then. My mum likes to takeaway the nasi lemak from here for us too. The food is not bad.
The rice for the nasi lemak is quite nice and I especially like their chilli. For the nasi lemak, I think they have a few set choices which comes with different ingredients with stuffs like eggs, chicken, otah, fish etc. I've tried the mee siam there too, which is not too bad as well.
Overall not the food at Qi Ji is not bad and it is Halal certified.
