1 Review for “Rabbit Brand Seafood Delicacies (Circular Road) ” - Restaurants

This shop was featured on Ch8 / ChU and that was why my parents pulled me along to try out the cheap delicacies. I tried to go once during working hours, but it was really a long walk alone Circular Road, from UOB Plaza: It is really deep inside. But the seating was ok, not totally full, but still quite a good turnout.
We tried the Braised Whole Abalone with Spinach Beancurd Set. Ok, at $12.50, the side is acceptable (small for me as a dish). The spinach beancurd (beancurd with a layer of smashed spinach on top of it) is unique, but not to my taste (don't quite like spinach's taste).
On another occasion, I had the Fish Maw Pottage with Rice Set. It was very long since I had Fish Maw Pottage in CBD area. It's quite a raw item in Food Court at a reasonable price. This is $5.50 and since the set comes with a dessert (Qing Tang - in addition to the menu's stated Chinese Tea)
But please, avoid the Shark's Fin & Scallops & Scrambled Egg Set. At $5.50, the price is good. But for this price, the shark's fin has to be put on top of the scrambled egg to give you the "there is shark's fin" impression. And knowing how shark's fin is like (tasteless by itself), the dish turn out just like plain scrambled egg. I couldn't get my friends to go back again because of this dish.
One of the standard tricks, they give out a stamp for every $10 purchases and 10 stamps give you a Free Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Set (my Dad loves this set and I think it has a small Abalone).
