Its a pretty quiet and soothing place. Great place to hang and have a pot of organic herbal tea while indulging on some vegetarian cuisines. Its a lifestyle cafe with cosy book corners for quiet reading, lightly finished wooden tables and chairs for proper dining and couches for that casual chit chat. The interior deco is pretty minimalistic with a few interesting pieces such as the message lighting hung from the ceiling in the middle of the room.
An acceptably thick menu sits on the counter and everything is very much self served. You pick your own menu, pick your own seats, order and pay at the counter and pick your own cutleries while awaiting the food to be served. There quite alot on the menu, 100% vegetarian and they even labelled the ingredients so you are sure your vegetarian pals won't get a rude shock. However while we ordered some pancakes from the all day breakfast section, the eggs used in majority to make the pancakes were not once mentioned and therefore the rude shock for non egg eaters.
The juice section is interesting, we love the concoction of the various fruits into smoothies and shakes and I love the avocado with soy latte styled! Variety lacks in taste as being on a weekday afternoon, just a little pass 2, half the menu is unavailable and mostly on the mains and all day breakfast. We ended up with whatever was available thus a veg burger looking focaccia sandwich which i believe is beetroot based and an extremely tropical side salad with jap sweet potatoes and all. Our all day breakfast fruit pancake ended pretty badly as the pancake was hard, heavy with too much eggs and must I say oily. We only managed half the pancake and the fruit topping was few. Very bad choice to have pancake.
The pricing is pretty okay, like the regular cafe prices and service is marginal. No loud Hi! No smiles, everybody was just doing their stuffs and I do feel the motivation. Its more like a lazy environment. Other then nice deco and also providing sale of some organic vegetarian groceries which are very few to choose from as well as few titles of books on the shelves, theres really nothing much about this place besides the bad pancakes.
