I visited that place for their buffet dinner. $22.90 for Mondays to Fridays and $24.90 for Weekends. No special promotion available for credit cardholders.

It is ala-carte buffet, so it is free flow of everything except for their Mango Pudding and Shark's fin soup, which is one bowl per person only and not available for kids below 3 years old.

I must comment that their Shark's fin soup taste like soup without the shark's fins.

Tried the cold dish combination. Only 3 items (Ngor Hiang, Prawn Salad, Jellyfish with cucumber). The huge gaps left on the plate makes the dish very empty upon serving.

Their boiled fresh prawns are really fresh, but so sad they took very long to cook up each dish. I only get to tried the dish 3 times. Tried Fried shrimps w/thousand island sauce. Not bad.

Tried Stirfried fresh scallops w/celery and Deep fried scallops w/Yam. The fresh scallops are nice, while the for the deep fried ones, you almost can't taste the scallops.

Tred Deep fried marble-goby w/soya sauce. Very oily, it is like eating fried flour.

Tried chicken wrapped in special paper. Very oily too, and the meat is not tender. Chicken sticked to the paper.

Tried Fried Pork Tendon w/XO Sauce, very nice. Feel like eating sea cucumber. Also tried Baked pork ribs in sweet sauce. The sauce tasted weird, while pork is still ok, not tough.

Deep fried beancurd w/thai sauce's beancurd is tasteless, you really need the sauce to go with it. Deep fried twisted fritters w/mayonnnaise is very oily. Strong aftertaste after trying that dish.

Braised ee-fu noodles w/yellow chives is nice, except that it is quite dry.

I like the desserts best. Dessert of the day is something similar to barley cooked in coconut milk. Very nice. Mango pudding is so-so. Cold Sago Cream w/mixed fruits tasted more like dilute solution with sago and fruits.

Staff is friendly, but takes very long to serve the dishes. Some patrons actually order a list of dishes way in advance, to avoid having to wait for the next dish.

Not very worth it, for the price paid for.

Recently I made a reservation with this place and I was not allowed to go in. A waitress blamed me that they called me 5 times to reconfirm my reservations but I didnt answer so they cancelled my reservation. In fact, I only received 3 times missed call and when I tried to call back I could not get through! So whose fault? I wasnt told that they will do such thing as call to reconfirm reservation which most high class restaurants dont even do that. What I was reminded was that they would hold the table for me for 15mins which I reserved at 12 and I reached there at 1145am but i was not allowed to enter. So whose fault? Another thing, the place was not even full yet, there were still many unoccupied seats! What type of service the place and the waitress is providing???

Dim Sum! That's one of my favourite!

We decided to go there during lunch hour for dim sum buffet yesterday. Haha... I would say that the food is really cheap & good. For just $11.90 on weekdays and $14.90 on weekends & PHs for the dim sum buffet. But it's only available between 11.30am to 2.30pm daily.

They serve a good variety of dim sum such as char siew bao, siew mai, har kao as well as other dishes like carrot cake, chicken feet (not that nice though, abit hard), prawn-paste chicken wings, stir-fried vegetables, etc. In fact, there's like 30 dishes on their menu. On top of these, they also serve desserts like mango puddings and gui ling gao at the end.

Food-wise, it's really thumbs up for the price we are paying. But talking about their service, it's really quite bad. The waitress was very fierce to us and it took them very long to serve us our dishes. Yes, so you got to be prepared to wait if you intend to go there for cheap & nice dim sum then.
