The lunch promotion ($22 for 2 sets) was too hard too resist. Though the board says to pay by standard chartered card but we clarified with the server and confirmed that we can enjoy the promotion via any credit card payment.
Soup of the Day - Cream of Mushroom You will love this if you like creamy soup and it came in a generous serving. I could taste the true mushrooms in my mouth.
Main Course - Aglio Olio This is the one which i would definitely order when i go western/ italian restaurants. It may seem an easy dish, but as the saying goes... The easier it seems, the more it can reflect the culinary of the chef. Sadly, this dish was a disappointment. The pasta (spaghetti) was hard, there was a fragrance of the garlic but tasted nothing. Though can see the chopped chilli but it aint spicy.
Main Course - Mushroom thin-crusted pizza The super-thin crust topped with sliced mushrooms and mozzarella cheese was fantastic! Crispy on every bite, sauce on the pizza is juz right - did not overpower the taste of the mushrooms.
The set lunch also came with ice-cream and coffee/tea. Free flow of iced water was served upon seated.

It wasn't a planned destination when I first chanced upon Rosti but the 1st experience was more than pleasing to the temples of my stomach.
The girlfriend wasn't so lucky with her choice of Rosti as the dish fell a little flat on the taste buds.
Me on the other hand, has always been a little lucky with my choices and they were the 'The Big Fat Mushroom Hat' and the 'Kurobuto Pork Chop'.
Both dishes were a little below standard on our 2nd visit but they were still a couple of the best dishes at Rosti after trying a few other mains.
The service staff were very friendly and pleasant but do note that food will take some time between your order and for it to appear on your table as the chefs do need to prepare it with TLC (Not the ancient girlband).

A casual western restaurant. Quiet and relaxing ambience to chill out.
Nice place for a glass of wine on a Sunday afternoon with my lovely wife after grocery shopping. My wife really enjoys their bolognese spagetti and I do enjoy the beef tenderloin. They have better Rosti and more varieties than Marche's. Their pizzas are thin crust and delicious. Both my wife and I usually call margherita to share.
Rosti is a hidden find and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a quiet spot and enjoy good food with nice wine with their loved one.

I thought the food sucked big time. Went there with Jon for set lunch and it was terrible.
