I walked pass saybons and saw their crepe...they look delicious;D I hesitated before I decided to buy it because it was quite expensive, each cost around $4-$5 There were a lot of flavours to choose from. They also have flavours of fruits like strawberry, banana and apple. We can also customize our own crepe by choosing from the ingredients menu.
I bought the smoked salmon and onions crepe and it was delicious, it was worth it.(: There was quite a generous amount of salmon, and the crepe is thin and not difficult to eat at all:D Will definitely return to try out other flavours available :D

I had a meeting at Plaza Singapura today. Not quite sure what to eat, I took a walk around the basement. Saybons caught my eye with its numerious newspaper clippings. On closer look... hey the girl on the newspaper (who's also the owner) is behind the counter cooking herself! Not really much of an excuse not to try is there?
I ordered a Mushroom soup and a Ham and Cheese Crepe. While my soup was served immediately in a paper cup, the waiting time for the crepe was around 8 minutes. Not exactly the grab and go counter I was expecting!
But with time to spare, I took a seat at the counter and waited for my crepe. I started sipping on my soup which I found too be a little too bland. I was a little disappointed with the taste since I had built up very high expectations from reading all the food reviews it had up at its store.
Do not get me wrong, you can tell that a lot of work has gone into making the soup fresh (unlike the instant ones you get everywhere else!) but the taste is just flat.
My crepe turned out to better than the soup. I was not blown away by it but I did enjoy it and not feel like it is an absolute waste of my stomach space.
At $7.70 for both items, I think the food is reasonably priced. What I also like about them is that they take great efforts in packaging their items. No expenses is spared to brand their products in good quality disposables.
I will definitely give it another try and see if it blows me away the next time.

If you love soup, you would love Saybons French Food Factory! I love their cream of wild mushroom. It is simply out of this world. this is not the normal out of the can mushroom soup that you get in restaurants.
Best part, it is serve in a cup! Drink as you go. French food is never that convenient. There are 4 different kind of soup sold there. Cream of wild mushroom, tomato soup, seafood bisque, broccoli and cheddar.
Not a big fan of soup? There are bread and butter and crepes to try. Don't think they are not filling. It is more than enough for me.
