If you enjoy taiwanese street snacks, Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack is the one of the few that does it quite similar to the authentic taiwan street snacks.
Love their XXL Fried chicken fillet. Its crunchy and yummy however, I would prefer it more juicy on the inside. Its really huge the nice staff helped me cut it into smaller pieces. Service I should say could be faster, however there is always a long queue at this outlet. I am disappointed by the type of toppings they have. Usually in taiwan, they do have sour plum powder, black pepper and chilli powder (I find the sg version, not as nice and a little too salty). Here, you only get the chilli powder. The deep fried sweet potato strips also lack in flavour as well as texture though still a healthier alternative to french fries as sweet potatoes are more nutritious naturally.
The oyster noodles also lack in taste and flavour and I find it a little bit too starchy... Its okay for buy, eat and walk and I truly hope that they could improve in flavour and quality of food.... Love the fact that we could find taiwanese street food in this multi-cultural society unique in SG.....
