Went to this restaurant some time back because my girlfriend said she tried the same one at Cineleisure. They do have student meals which is quite reasonably priced. She had the Karage pasta in cream sauce. Tasted okay, very average. I had the Pork burger, which to my surprise, came in a considerably big portion. I was expecting a smaller version as I saw from the menu. Nevertheless, it was a plesant surprise. My girlfriend also insisted on the waffle with ice-cream. Do ask for butter or maple syrup because they will gladly bring over to you. Total bill came out to be around $36 for 2 pax. Pretty reasonable. Will go back some day.

Tried this new restaurant last weekend, and the food was good ! Wide variety of pasta with different sauces (about 5 or more kinds..) Their Iwate Kinoko Soup (Cream of Mushroom) was flavoursome, more creamy and thick than usual yet not overpowering.. They serve ultra-thin crust pizza too, which is one of my favourite kind of pizza.. Choices from Seafood, Mentaiko (Cod Roe), Ebi and so on.. Also the desserts was COOL! You won't believe it, but their Ice-Cream are actually all imported from JAPAN! Which makes it so special, that they have the flavours that you can't get in SG.. Must-Try: Kyoho Grape and Wasabi (with Pocky too!!).. Yummylicious! Plus, one thing that you will see on all tables is the Kakigori (slush ice dessert), they have chestnuts (that are imported from Japan too!) very sweet and soft... But like it more if there was more green tea flavour.. Mmm.. The service was not too bad too, the crews was friendly and they kept shouting in Jap: ""Welcome!", "Thank you"! which makes the whole place so lively..
By the way, saw the other day at Raffles City new basement extension that they have also opened another restaurant (by the same brand name - Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar), huge restaurant with very beautiful interiors.. It's so Jap!! I guess they have opened barely a week.. So I will be visiting this weekend..
Anyone who has visited, can leave me a comment and let me know how was the food and so..? Thanks!
