2 Reviews for “Stuttgart Blackforest S-Cafe Express (Beach Road) ” - Food & Beverages

26 August 2014 (Tues) My 28th birthday evening was spent together with my friends in Stuttgart Blackforest S-Café Express (;
I feel like i’m on a movie set, the place, originally the office of Lighting shop Verge Light was established in 2011 between two business partners Mr Alan and Ms Siew Khim.
The place is elaborately designed, similarly, perhaps even better looking than the other Stuttgart Blackforest S-Cafe in middle road. While we are stunned by the ground floor, we were more amazed when we got to the second floor. Decorated with many intricate furniture with fine details, I can't help but had to take many pictures.
Great place to rest and relax with friends and I even spotted a Dumbwaiter, no more carrying drinks on my wobbly hands up the stairs.

Tucked at the quiet corner opposite KeyPoint right next to Beach Road is this interesting little cafe. I couldn't find the entrance as its carefully hidden at the side yet I was led into a cosy little room that seemed to resemble the fragment of my fairytale imaginary mind.
Warmly illuminated with many exotic timber furnitures and intricate shapes is all I could remember before being warmly greeted by our host. There are too many details for me to discuss however, the entire atmosphere was cosy and warm. Sharing this German cafe is interestingly a light fixture and designer company which explained the various intricate lightings installed where-ever possible. Below the Stairway to the mysterious upper room is their office. Pretty nice set up for a office, showroom and cafe...
Food and drinks available were few but ample for a coffee break discussion session. A selection of Black Coffee, Cappuccino, Latte, a few flavors for bagged tea, hot chocolate plus some icy cold concoction was available paired with some tea cakes and simple pastries to go along. Pocket friendly pricing and casual service is pretty nice until we spotted a working DUMB WAITER.... and it became WOW.... Its the first working DUMB WAITER i've seen in Singapore, well, i've heard about it and have seen them in other countries but yet first in Singapore. So we had our drinks delivered up to the upper room via MR DUMB WAITER...
While we leisurely strolled up the stairway while closely inspecting the beautiful lightings from various european styles, we were surprised by the spacious upper room that reminded me of a movie set... Yes, various lightings, antique props, cushy couches and english working desk all fused to create an interesting "DRAWING ROOM" from the English Novels... Less we didn't find a Duke and a Baron discussing farm businesses.. I kinda felt awkward without my corset and stockings and my LACY UMBRELLA that could get wet in rain...
Seats were few but extravagant and will look extremely great in selfies and photos. I must say this is one of the most interesting cafes i've ever been to and well.. look sexy posing in one of those cushy set like looking seats... Next time i will remember to bring along my top hat and park my horse by Beach road.... :)
Cool Joint :)
