Have you been to the newly refurbished Suntec City Mall... especially the Convention center portion. Its glossy and up class new flooring made me excited as I walk into the mall.. The spick and span outlook is entirely different from the old layout. I could not recognize the mall at all and I applaud they for removing tiny corridors, walkways that leads to nowhere and weird spaces tucked at some corners.

It feels more spacy and with more retail shops as well as dining entities. I love the new concept and the toy looking seats they put at the foyer. The shops looked chic and extremely up class with its super high ceiling and top to bottom glass displays. Brightly lit with beautiful lighting and somehow I feel the shops and aisle have been rearranged to ease traffic flow.

The entrance to the convention center now is a open concept, non aircon foyer that is next to the drop off zone. I love the escalator... Its one of the longest in town and fast moving.. I can't help but grab hold of the handrails tight as if I'm gonna slip... I guess its a long way down... The huge display screen in between the escalators is both functional and makes the place so techy.

I love the array of shops I see and I also notice many new eateries... One of which only sells milkshakes and have a logo that resembles BURGER KING... wondering what it is... drop down to the new SUNTEC MALL and have a look yourself :)

suntec is HUGE. used to think so when i was younger, (maybe cos i was tinier then) cos it's simply sucha looong walk from one end to another! to top things off certain sections are not connected on the ground level so u have to go up and down to get to the different parts of the mall.

with the recent revamp at the front section of the mall, it is now bigger than ever. i think suntec boasts a nice variety of shops, and houses aplenty good food for you to satisfy ur hunger after the shopping spree.

something worth checking out is the newly opened maui waui (spelled sth like that), which is basically a hawaiian cafe. it is located near the entrance leading from the underpass.

the first thing that comes to my mind when i think of suntec city mall is the fountain of wealth, the world's largest fountain. surrounding it are many good restaurants where you can dine in while watching the falling waters. besides that there is still a food court further in, followed by all the fast food restaurants like McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Subway, and Carl's Jr. If you are not into fast food there is still kenny rogers, fish & Co. and many more for you to choose from. after dining you can also bring your kids to feed the kois at the koi garden. shopping at suntec is a wise choice as there is an overwhelming amount of things you can get there. be it apparels, home furnishings, gifts & stationary, electronics, computers, tele-communications, sports equipments, jewellery and etc. there are so many well-liked clothing and accessories brands for you to choose from and the most recent ones are fat face, cravattificio zadi, gap, dockers, topshop/topman and many more. for the younger crowd there is also an arcade and k box, or you can catch a movie at the entertainment centre. for those who wanna do some shopping for their homes can head down to the hypermarket, carrefour, located at level 1 & 2. the place is easily accessible, a 10 min walk through citylink from cityhall mrt station, or you can take a bus. there is quite a number of buses that travels there and also a shuttle bus service boarding from cityhall mrt station.
