1 Review for “Swee Guan Hokkien Mee ” - Eating Places
97
Heard from some bloggers that this is one of the best fried hokkien noodles. Beside this location. there seem to be another stall sharing similar name at East Coast.
Most people mentioned that the noodles are fried using charcoal but we couldnt see much of the cooking area as it is board up. We also noticed that although there is a long line of customers (about 12 people queuing) the noodles seem really fragrant. However we found that the quality is not consistent. Sometimes it is wet and mushy but other visits, the noodles are stir fried quite dry.
There is also no standard portion for the price paid. We have paid for small and medium sized but both looked the same.
But based on the price paid, $6 for small plate is rather expensive for a non air-condition coffee shop. On top of it, you need to queue for almost half hour before collecting the noodles from the old uncle.
