The lift is always spolit in this market. Pity the suppliers and delivery men who have to take the escalors with their heavy load to reach the food stalls. I heard some of the stall owners complained many times to the management and even wrote in several times to the Chinese newspaper about the lift problems, it reached a stage whereby the press rejected publishing their complaints. Unfortunately the Management doesn't do anything about it and even claimed that Taman Jurong Market has the best lift in Singapore!
There are quite a number of empty stalls due to poor business in some out-of-the-way corners. I heard the rents are quite low though.
I like the soup stall that sells a wide variety of Chinese soup in tiny claypot imported from China. Mushroom, seaweed, lotus, winter melon, black beans soup and a few others can be found here.
There is also a newly-opened nyona food stall which chicken curry is worth trying.

One of my favourite hawker centre in Jurong. Selling pretty of good food. From Chicken rice to Korean food. There are 2 levels of food stalls. However, there is always no car park during lunch time. So in order to get a parking lot, we have to leave our office earlier.
There are a lot of food stalls but not many open for business. I guess maybe the rent is high.
One of my favourite Wan Tan Mee food stall in Taman Jurong Hawker Centre is Nan Xing Wan Tan Mee, unit number is #02-109(if i am not wrong). They are selling wan tan mee in black soya sauce. Chilli sauce will be added if you want. But I like it plain with green chilli. The wan tan are delicious too. it is big but only limit to three. If you want more, you got to pay extra. The soup is pretty nice too, heard from the auntie that the soup boil purely with chicken bones and soya bean. Pretty healthy I think. They are selling the chicken feet noodle too. Not sure how the taste like, but my colleauges said is nice.
Nan Xing wan tan mee also sell handmade noodles. The noodles are really "handmade". No machine is being used.
Another favourite food is the city satay stall located at level 3. The chicken satay meat is tender and juicy. Talking about the satay makes my saliva drip.
