Go for their set menu, it's more worth it! you get to try both the soup and sandwich, at arnd 10 odd dollars, much cheaper than if you were to order them separately.
been to this raffles city outlet lately, and i was surprised to find many of the sandwich flavours sold out on a weekday night. plus, my friends n i really werent all that late to reach, maybe around 8pm? so the variety we had was limited. do visit early if u want to have more choices, all the better if you visit during the off peak afternoon hours. easier to get seats, you can eat leisurely, plus the service wld usually be better then.

Was a on-off customer of soup spoon since their first outlet in raffles place. Still remember they used to provide free flow of bread in the early days, but reckon they dropped this option realising they are dealing with Singaporean type of consumers.. its also a smart move to remove the free flow bread concept and expand their menu with other carbo replacements which generates revenue. ^_^
My current favorite is their tomato basil soup. The flavour is tangy with a hint of spice, consistency is not too thick & suitable for those still prefer soups that doesn't taste like thick cream. The raffles city outlet serves nann too & its pretty authentic ( u can see the nanns freshly baked as you queued for your turn. )
One tip, service quality is mediocre especially when queues are long during feeding times... be ready for an unsmiling counter staff as they try to clear the queues asap....

It was my 3rd time dining at Soup Spoon but my 1st at Bugis's outlet. Ordered Peppery Chicken Hotpot and Asian Sweet Corn Chowder and tuna mayo sandwich drink. The chicken hotpot is of course peppery but still acceptable to me. The corn chowder is what i term very "corny", there is simply so much corn in the soup! We couldn't finish the corny soup.. Had the tuna mayo takeaway. But it was as filling as ever! oh.. and their staff were really polite and helpful too! Would definitely go back to try other soups!
