Inspired by the atmosphere of the European cafés that we visited during our flying days, we decided to create The Verandah Café @ Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) - a place that exudes a quiet charm and relaxing ambience, a place that our customers can indulge in food, drinks, wine, art and music all under one roof. Let's sit back, relax and bask in life's simple pleasures.

Today i was going to Art house to meet 1 one of client, I chanced upon this cafe that overlooks the river. It's situated at the back of the museum, when i stepped into the cafe, i was greeted by the staff, and shown to my seat.
The cafe menu looks good but you have to really look at the food they served, I ordered the set meal of the day it comes with soup/salad, main course and coffee/tea for SGD9.90 Quite reasonable i think. Well it happens today they served grilled chicken chop for lunch and it was good. I almost forgot that they have a self playing piano!!! I have not seen this kind of thing before.
Well, overall it was a cosy and great ambience to have lunch or dessert or even wine.
I definitely will go back...

nice ambience, nice thin-crust pizza (self-designed too), got a self-played piano too, interesting place... great from couple for a nice romantic chill-out! service great too.. very personalised service and cheerful service staffs... it hard to have staff greet you when you enter and depart a cafe nowadays and this cafe actually did it to all their customers.. very cosy and homecoming feeling!
