This stall was highly recommend by my friend. He has been patronizing this store regularly for some time and one day he actually bought some dim sum from this stall just for me to try them out. From then on, i am hooked.
They got quite a few varieties of baos but i highly recommend just one type of bao, that is the 'char siew bao'. This is one of their best seller bao too.
Their 'char siew bao' is very different as compared to the normal 'char siew bao'. For example, the size of the bao are significant smaller than the normal 'char siew bao'. Well, guess its because of the small size, that why one 'char siew bao' is never enough for me. hee hee.
Their fillings is also very different. Gone were the red colour char siew, their dark soya sauce colour char siew is much more tasty. Gone were the dry char siew, their char siew were wet enough without sauce dripping out of the bao. Perfect.
Their skin is not as thick as compared to the other baos, so one will get a good combination of fillings and skin. Their bao's skin also has a glossy effect which makes the bao look more appetising.
Guess, the most important factor on why i loved their 'char siew bao' is the freshness of their bao. Beside steaming their bao every morning, they also continue steaming during the day to ensure a fresh continuous supply of bao is provided for his customers. A rather good move to lure his customers back again and again.
