It was a first time for me here.
We made reservations a month before for this lunch buffet(12noon-2.30pm) and got a copy of the menu through email.
The theme for the month was Mexican and we were not disapponted. The first thing I spotted was the impressive dessert spread. The chocolate fondue was huge and prominent and the strawberries are displayed in a creative manner- pierced in a gigantic barrel of pineapple. There were even sticks of blueberries at the first half hour before they were gone.Chocolate truffles paint a pretty picture( there were even a line of green tea truffle which was coated with green tea powder!) and the mini bite sized cakes were just superb eye candy(edible ones!)
The bite-sized carrot cake was a great surprise as it was not stated on the menu-topped with a cute little carrot.
Juicy fresh berries were aplenty, and there were even posh raspberry and blackberry topping the little cakes. The passionfruit and mango cake was bursting with flavour!
I am not used to eating seafood on ice, so no comments on that though I disliked the taste of the oyster.
The prime rib was fab! It was sliced generously by the chef stationed and a mean slab.

I've been there 2years back by mistake.I was supposed to go and eat at Marina Mandarin and I got mixed up.Brought one of my friend there for birthday celebration. The service was quite good cos i informed them that it was my friend's birthday and asked them if they can do anything. They came with a cake and candle compliments from them. The food was not bad but i guess i would have enjoyed the one in Marina Madndarin more. But it was fun and i got to eat at the choclate fountain.I was glad that at least i got an experience being there.
