The whole idea of spa, is to be able to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The True Spa offered none of that experience from its location, ambience, service to pushy sales people.
Call me an idiot if you have to. But I spent a good 15 min locating the correct lift that takes me up to the spa. I believe I am not the first nor the last in getting a little lost here. Arriving at the spa feeling frustrated is not a good way to start already.
The moment I step into the spa, I felt like I had just entered True Yoga lounge. I was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of their sales team trying to sell packages to all sorts of different types of customers. There was none of the zen and peace you will expect when you go to a spa.
I had opted for a foot treatment that day. While they seemed to think that their Osim chairs are a plus point, I simply have to beg to differ. I was in discomfort for the whole 45 minutes while having my foot treatment done. The massager simply dug into my bony back, causing me a lot of pain.
While I was grimacing in pain, the other masseurs sat behind me dishing out their life stories to each other. I was devastated that these masseurs, on top of not noticing my discomfort, had to add to my growing resentment by talking so loudly behind me. I swear that by the end of the 45 minutes that I already knew who dumped her boyfriend for which man but really, as juicy as it is, I think these conversations are best kept behind the pantry door.
When my paraffin wax treatment was finally over, I was pushed off to a pushy sales man who tried to make me sign up a package with the spa for 2 years. 2 freaking years!!!
Honestly, running a spa is quite different from selling yoga memberships and unless the management understands that, there is no way I am going to step into True Spa again.

I was really happy and surprised yet frustrated.
Happy to know I'm not the only one suffering from my stupid action (signing up). Frustrated and at the service true spa supplied.
I had read the reviews and dont think I need to express mine as its all simliar.
1st booking is hell. Subsequent booking is worse. Service so bad that even a HDB flat kind of spa give better service than them. They are in TAKA, "TRUE" spa..... For whatever god sake..
Giving up trying to get my refund. No point going to CASE. Just endurance and finish up the session.. OR I did get my friends or relatives to help finish up the session.
One important word of advise to all..... DO NOT BE CHEATED AND SIGN UP ANY PACKAGE IN TRUE SPA.

Hi Guys,
i signed up last year July 07. 1st two appt was ok. Then it went messy. No one pick up the phone lines which i totally amazed. How they do business without ppl answering the calls?!!!!! I even had doubt over the no. just in case they change without notifying. Went to internet and found it is the same so I called the Aesthetics line just to get thru. It worked but later back to square one. At first i thought they closed down and run away with the money. Finally i called my consultant out of desperation and i was told she quit.Thank God another consultant came to entertain my complains. Its frightening and sad to sign up my 1st spa treatment package and ended up like this...All i needed was somewhere i could destress once a month with my husband. I didnt bargain at all just gave my budget and i signed up for it. I didnt even do my homework considering that the famous establishment cant go wrong. Well here am i sharing my experiences with all of you. Since i only go once a mth, i was told by the replacement consultant to book through her. She did a good job securing slots for me so far until recently i had to book at the counter to get a slot. She is missing in action. Not surprising...all for the money i guess. I dont mind cause i just want to finish what i sign up for. No point getting frustrated unless they totally ignore you. i thought of renewal since it went well so far after the ugly period, they resume with their bad service again. Make you wait there without informing you tt they are late and the massage was deterioting compared to last time...My recovered confidence has found its way down again...nope, they got their chance and i will finish up my package and move to somewhere worth it!. Am still searching? Can some one recommended? East to Town area?! Dont mind paying a bit more as long as they have a proper, fair and balance system in place for sincere indulgence people like us!!! Satisfaction is the word. Never short change your customers. Its the 1st rule of thumb in all successful business. Good reputation will drive you far. People dont mind paying more for good service and for a peace of mind.

hello! I'd suggest something like Goodwood's Aspara membership card, but their massages are varying in quality. Still, you get two to three one-for-one vouchers so you save, and the card's only $30.
