UBeau (Liang Seah Street)

Hi Ladies, guess we are all wrong about uBeau. I walked pass the shop last Saturday, and their promotion price is attracting me. I didn't have time to search for a review and went in for their first trial of Brazilian wax.

The therapist at the counter told me that all services are by appointment only, but when i was about to turn away looking disappointed, she checked her book and told me that she will be able to do for me this time round. She even told me about better promo which they have on Facebook. She advised me to go and search for uBeau and like the page. Price is so much cheaper.

Was led to the room upon clicking on the LIKE, the therapist explain the procedure to me in a professional manner. The whole process was quick and hassle-free. Come with a soothing mask too after the waxed.

The experience was good and the therapist started to sell me their packages. Told myself before i go up, not to sign any package but the way she explain to me about the value of the package led me to the signing up.

Im happy with uBeau. Im not related in any way with uBeau but the good experience with them deserve better comments than the above said.

I went to uBeau for Brazilian Waxing like Leanie Pig just before CNY. And guess what, I received exactly the same treatment or maybe worst!!! Being a seasoned Brazilian waxer, this is the most painful & humiliating experience I ever had. Leanie Pig is very merciful in her words.

The same lady, Liz, did it for me. She looked unhappy when I just took the normal waxing instead of the more expensive service that she recommended. However, it never occur to me that I can be treated like a pig on a slaughtering table. In the midst of it, she said in a sneering & rude manner that my sensitive part has bled because I took the normal service. No wonder it was so, very painful that I took a while to catch my breath... I have a reasonably high threshold for pain but it became so unbearable and with her attitude while I observed her doing the waxing, I asked her to stop even when it's incomplete. She practically gave a "heck care" look & walked out of the room even while I was dressing. I was utterly speechless & hopping mad in silence.

What kind of business are they operating? I mentioned that I like to lodge a complaint & she asked me to go ahead. She said she is not the owner of the business but I have my reservation. I wanted to ask for a refund but I doubt she will even accede to my request in view of her behavior & attitude since the minute I stepped into the saloon. I do not want to embarrass myself further in front of so many other patrons next to the counter. By the way, the hurt at my sensitive area persisted a few days... Just my luck to meet such a person! Hence, please avoid uBeau... It's not worth to pay & be treated this way...
