A definitely must go restaurant for food lovers :)
attractive and cosy design, good ambience and not too much customers.
it was quite awhile the last time i went there so i couldnt really remember all the details but me and my bf both think that they serve the best mushroom soup in Singapore! (or maybe of those we tried) it was really thick and creamy and delicious!
i ordered the wagyu beef burger with foie gras. i really enjoyed my burger! the beef was tender and somehow i think they toasted the bread slightly, with butter, making the bread rather crispy, and it really goes well with the beef! my bf ate the foie gras as i do not take it, but he said that its not very perfectly done and it tasted abit like pig liver? hah! i do not understand as i do not eat livers so i couldnt really understand what he was talking about.
oh yes, the service indeed took quite long given the fact that there werent much customers at that time. but well, we werent that hungry so its okay as the food compensated for the long wait.
however.... it was quite costly id say. we spent about 70 dollars for 2 person. but well, at least we enjoyed ourselves.

This review is written on 31 March 2007. Will updated with this year's review soon. :)
Hubby and I were exploring vivocity. This time, we went to WHITE DOG CAFE.
In the 1st and 3rd photo features the interesting "milk" bottle which is used to put plain drinking water. Which I later on found from the bottom of the bottle that it's from IKEA. :) (pardon then blur photos) :P
WHITE DOG CAFE Food: 7/10 Deco/View: 9/10 Service: 6/10 Cost: 7/10 Total: 29/40
The food's pretty good, the deco are alright, the sea view is fantastic, but the waiting time could be shorter though. They did take sometime to take our orders, good for those who takes a long time deciding what they want to eat. Not good for hungry people like me. :P

Being attracted to the cosy and modern looking cafe, my friends and I decided to have dinner there. There was a queue outside, but the waitress was friendly and handed each of us a menu to decide on what we would like to have.
Soon, we were ushered to comfortable sofa seats at a corner beside the entrance, which was cosy and not too open due to the translucent purple curtain separating us and the crowd walking along outside. Ambience was quite nice. :)
After we were seated, we were given a bottle of water and 4 glasses. It was really quite disappointing when we're paying the 10% service charge, and we have to serve ourselves.
The menu was quite extensive, with a variety of items that looked really delicious. 4 of us were quite spoilt for choice. :P Hmm..but the downside of things were that, some food were unavailable in kitchen and some drinks were also unavailable.
I ordered some seafood pasta, and when it came, it looked really appealing due to the presentation of the dish. The seafood were fresh, and all in all it was quite good. :) Hmm..the portion of the pasta was a little too small though. My friend's mango-chicken dish was also quite special, as the mango was in the chicken and it was quite nice..
Dessert was fine too. Hmm..just average and a little pricey in my opinion.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal :)
